Here at The Greedy Fox we are all about no fuss, tasty food so we try to keep our recipes as hassle free as possible you won’t find a recipe with a long list of ingredients, or containing any rare ingredients that need extensive research and searching. All of our ingredients can be bought from all good supermarkets and some poor ones as well.
So hot off the press is our newly released Greedy Fox Cajun Seasoning and here is our healthy, lean turkey steak kebab, everybody loves a kebab! We like to serve our kebabs with Cauliflower Cous Cous.
The Greedy Fox Cajun Turkey Steak Kebabs.
This recipe will make 8-10 kebabs
4 Turkey steaks cut into bitesize cubes
1 Red pepper diced roughly the same size as the Turkey
1 Green pepper diced Roughly the same size as the Turkey
1-2 teaspoon The Greedy Fox Cajun Seasoning
Top Tip – If using wooden kebab skewers soak in cold water for 30 mins before use.
In bowl add the seasoning to the Turkey and mix to coat. Keeping a cherry tomato on each end of the kebab alternate between the turkey and the peppers on each skewer until all the pieces are gone.
Grill under a medium grill for 3 mins each side [12 in total]
We like these served with The Greedy Fox cauliflower Cous Cous, KoKo dairy free yogurt and our favourite sciracha chilli sauce.
Cauliflower is fast becoming a firm Greedy Fox favourite it’s so versatile and has come a long way from the old boiled waterlogged cauliflower that used to accompany a roast. Here we use the cauliflower and turn it into cous cous a perfect light accompaniment for our Cajun Kebab.

Cauliflower and Mixed Veg Cous Cous
1 Medium cauliflower cut into bitesize chunks. Remove as much of the tough stalks as possible.
1-2 tsp The Greedy Fox Mexican Seasoning (Or whatever Greedy Fox seasoning takes your fancy, we think the Caribbean works beautifully we this too)
1/2 Red pepper diced
1/2 Small white onion roughly diced
Handful chopped parsley
Handful chopped coriander
Handful pomegranate seeds [optional]
Fry light or your oil of choice.
Pulse cauliflower in a blender [If you event got a blender use the course side on a box grater] until the cauliflower resembles Cous Cous.
Pour the cauliflower Cous Cous and a spray of fry light into a frying pan large enough for all the cauliflower [Or fry in batches] cook on a medium heat covered for 5-8 mins. Or until at your desired softness
In a separate pan add all the veg ingredients and The Greedy Fox Mexican seasoning, fry over a med high heat until slightly charred and soft about 5 mins.
Add all to a big mixing bowl and gently mix, stir in the chopped herbs.
Scatter over the pomegranate seeds if using.
Serve hot or cold, its your Cous Cous.
